When Luvcat first introduced herself with debut single ‘Matador’, it was with a prowl and a purr; a window opened to a world of romance, danger, escapism and good old fashioned rock’n’roll, where Parisian decadence and British sweat ‘n sawdust sat hand-in-seductive-hand. Her origin story was just as wild, with giddy tales of hedonistic early shows on the banks of the River Seine, torrid love affairs with a circus ringleader, and bandmates met whilst skinny-dipping on heady summer evenings. Yet, in the year since, the thrilling madness around Luvcat has snowballed faster and further than even these lore-building tales.
