MERCY GIRL
Mercy Girl is sensory euphoria and contemplation.
Formed in 2024 by members Daisy Miles, Davey Purdie, Craig Harkness
and Kylie MacNaughton, the Glasgow based electronic outfit explore
themes of love, despair and the uncertainty of the human experience.
Taking inspiration from Darkwave, EBM and Electro-Pop, Mercy Girl
invokes both the solace of a dark empty highway, and the surrender of a
neon-hazed dancefloor.
Since launching in November 2024, the band have amassed a global
audience and a cult online following. Accruing millions of streams and
having their music regularly played at, and being used to promote dark
scene club nights everywhere from Los Angeles to Berlin.
The band sold out their debut headline show in Glasgow and have since
played multiple sold out shows across the UK. Mercy Girl have had
tracks: ‘Heaven’ and ‘Closer’ featured as track of the week on BBC
introducing Scotland along with a full artist feature with an interview.
Their single ‘No Sound’ was featured as Track of the Week on BBC 6
Music.
Later in 2025 Mercy Girl joined the Swamp Booking roster and have
since supported Forever Grey on the UK leg of their UK/EU tour. Mercy
