Entry Process Map

Get ready for the most epic weekend of the year. We've got three days, four stages, 84 acts, and the most incredible audience on the planet who are at the heart of everything we do.

We're all ears when it comes to listening to you. Your feedback matters big time. In the planning of TRNSMT 2023, we heard you loud and clear. You wanted an older crowd and better behaviour from some fans. Well, we’ve taken your words to heart and this year, we have raised the entry age to 16.

Now, let's talk security. Our dedicated team of stewards will be at every entrance. They're working with a Challenge 25 policy, so if you’re lucky enough to look under 25, do not forget your ID (no fake stuff, and definitely no photos or photocopies of ID!). We're also giving the whole entry process a revamp to make it smoother and quicker for you.

Things will start off with a ticket check so make sure you’ve got it ready and downloaded on your phone to scan before you enter the queue, then you’ll head on through to get your ID checked. Particularly for those of you who may look under 25, forms of ID with the PASS hologram like Young Scot Cards are accepted but you must make sure the hologram is not damaged or faded. If it is, bring a different form of ID. There is a full section on ID available on our website so, check that out so you’re not turning up with the wrong type as you won’t get in. Oh, and don’t bring a photocopy or a photo of ID as these won’t be accepted.

You’ll then get your ticket scanned and go into the search lanes We’ve got a full section on what you can and cannot bring into the event here so, have a read over this info so you don’t have to throw anything in the bin. If you’re caught with any prohibited items, you may be refused entry or, in some cases, arrested.

Once you’re through the ticket scan and search, you will enter the Final Security Check. We have a robust safeguarding policy at the festival, and this area will see additional security, police, police search dogs, CCTV checks and welfare staff looking out for anyone under 16, spotting for intoxication, or the possibility of inappropriate behaviour in line with this policy. They are there to make sure everyone enters the wider festival site with a smile on their face and to enhance our safeguarding and entry procedures at the festival.

TRNSMT is all about being a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space for everyone. But here's the deal—we need you to play your part to help to make it happen. Treat each other with respect, kindness, and look out for one another. Together, we'll create the best event ever, filled with incredible memories that will keep us buzzing until TRNSMT returns next year.

So, get ready. TRNSMT is coming in hot, and we can't wait to share this unforgettable experience with each and every one of you!
