Glasgow Green is a 5 minute walk from the Merchant City, located in the heart of Glasgow City and on the banks of the River Clyde meaning there are plenty of public transport and accommodation options available nearby.

Roads surrounding Glasgow Green will be closed and restricted to local residents only so please don’t bring your car as there is no parking at the festival.

Drink smart – you didn’t come all this way to miss the best bit

Yes, festivals are about having fun – but drinking too much, too soon, can turn legendary nights into early exits and missing the moments that matter. If you plan to drink, there’s no shame in a wee water break – you didn’t pay to miss your favourite band because you peaked too soon!

If you're under 18, don’t even risk it. Preloading before entry could see you turned away at the gate before your weekend even begins.

Consent is everything

Being at a festival doesn’t mean boundaries disappear. If it’s not a clear, enthusiastic yes, then it’s a no. And remember, anyone under the influence cannot consent.

If you or a pal feel unsafe at any time, head to welfare and Ask for Angela – we’ve got you.

Drugs

There’s no safe level of drug use, and mixing drugs – including alcohol and prescription medication – is NEVER a good idea. Leave the mixing to the DJs!

If you have taken drugs and something feels wrong, get help and be honest about what you’ve taken – it could save your life.

Remember:

If you or a friend feel unwell, no matter the reason, go to welfare or ask a steward for help. Zero judgement. Total support. If something goes wrong, we’re here

Keep an eye on your drink and an eye out for your pals. If your drink looks, smells, or tastes off – don’t take the risk

Zero tolerance. Spiking will get you arrested

Don’t let peer pressure win

You don't have to say yes to impress, and real mates would never push you to risk your safety.

If something doesn’t feel right – stop. FOMO is a choice, don’t let yours be a bad one. The best times are the ones you remember, not the ones you regret.

Pyro and flares

Did you know flares can burn at 1600°C? That’s hotter than lava.

Flares, pyro, and smoke canisters can all lead to serious injury or arrest. Don’t risk it. Unless you want to spend the night with the police instead of your pals, of course…

No under 16s are allowed entry into the festival.

A Challenge 25 policy will be in place. You must provide valid, in-date, original photographic ID (no photocopies or expired passports). Entry to the festival is restricted to those 16+ and bar access is restricted to those 18+.Your ID must clearly resemble you and entry will be denied for false or borrowed IDs, which is a criminal offense.

Security checks will be thorough, and if we cannot quickly verify your ID or resemblance, you may experience delays. We work with Police Scotland to ensure a robust process and fake IDs will be confiscated and returned to the issuing organisation.

Accepted IDs:

UK/International Driving Licence (Full/Provisional)

UK/International Passport

PASS card (Young Scot, CitizenCard, My ID Card) with a clear, untampered hologram. If the hologram is damaged, apply for a replacement as it won’t be accepted.

This follows the national Challenge 25 policy.

Items to bring:

A bag smaller than A4 paper.

The festival is cashless so you will need to bring your bank card or contactless device. All types of contactless cards and devices are accepted by traders, bars and funfair.

Bring an empty soft collapsible water bottle or pouch which is 500ml or smaller so you can refill this at the free water points across the festival throughout the day.

Small travel size sunscreen, portable phone chargers, lip balm and makeup, small cameras, sunglasses, wipes, ear plugs, and hand sanitiser can all be brought into the festival.

If you need to bring medicine, it must be clearly labelled in the original box or container and only be enough for one day. If you use a syringe, please take this to one of our first aid points where you can dispose of this safely.

Searches will be carried out at all entrances and may include a ‘pat down’, bag search and the use of hand-held wand detection. You may be refused entry, ejected or worse still, arrested if you bring a prohibited item so familiarise yourself with what we won’t allow into the festival. See a full list of prohibited items on our Special Event Conditions - available on the Terms & Conditions drop down, below. Items will be confiscated and not returned.

CCTV and Detection Dogs will be in use at entrances and across the festival site. You will be removed from the site if found with flares, smoke canisters or drugs (you also risk being arrested!).

Please be prepared for delays on entry for searches and ticket checks.

They can also help reunite you with friends or family if you’ve been separated.

Need medical attention?

We offer medical support for anyone requiring it across the Festival.

Our first aid points, marked on the festival map, are staffed with experienced first aiders to help with minor injuries, ailments or mental health concerns.

For more serious concerns, our onsite medical centre is run by qualified A&E doctors and nurses.

Ambulances and paramedics are also on standby for emergencies.

Need a calm space to relax?

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, we have wellbeing support for you onsite.

Visit our Wellbeing Area away from the crowd.

Managed by Crew 2000, this safe spot lets you recharge before getting back to the festival. Support is always available if you need it.

Whether it’s directions or any questions about the festival, just drop by and our team will be happy to help.

There is no lost/found property location at the festival. 

If you are unfortunate enough to lose a personal item, please note that all property recovered by stewards is passed to Police Scotland and available to collect from the Monday after the festival.

You can call them on 101 to check if your item has been found.
